I have 3D Zephyr Lite and it's pretty good, good masking features, and is reasonably fast and accurate. I would REALLY appreciate any guidance, expertise, recommendations, advice, and anything you think would be helpful! Thank you in advance! I'll probably grab some plants and trees and make point clouds out of them. I plan on going into the forest and just walking through it and taking some cool scans. I have no intention of selling 3D models. I have a nice beefy desktop rig with a 3090 in it, so I like the idea of putting things I've already purchased to use instead of uploading things to the cloud with Reality Capture, and I'm assuming the 200$ software will work better than the open source free Meshroom will. I have NO problem dropping 200$ on some good software that will save me time. But when I looked these up I also came across Metashape, and 3DF Zephyr that are about 200$. They mostly try to keep things open source and free for the tutorial so they recommended MeshRoom, but also Reality Capture for a simple version. I purchased a tutorial by Creative Shrimp that is a guide on how to do photogrammetry, and I got caught on the software they recommended. I've been a blender user for 3 years, and I have a nice DSLR, and I want to get into photogrammetry. I'm a photogrammetry beginner, and im just trying to make heads or tails of what everything does, what I need, etc.
